Falcon 2000EX EASy II to 2000S/LXS Differences
Description

This FAA-approved, online course is designed to familiarize you with the differences between the base aircraft (Falcon 2000EX EASy/DX/LX) and the Falcon 2000S and LXS variants.

The Falcon 2000LXS is a Falcon 2000LX that is equipped with:

  • Winglets (M2846)
  • EASy II (M3254)
  • New FADEC software (M3453)
  • A 600 lb. increase in MTOW (M3390)
  • Inboard slats (M5000)


The Falcon 2000S is a Falcon 2000LXS with the follow differences:

  • Fuel capacity is reduced (M3000)
  • MTOW is decreased by 600 lbs. (M3390 is not installed)


Prerequisites: 
A pilot may enroll in the Falcon 2000S and/or Falcon 2000LXS Differences course if the pilot holds:

  • At least a private pilot certificate with appropriate category, class, and type rating in the Falcon 2000EX EASy II Series, or enrolled in a curriculum to become qualified in the Falcon 2000EX EASy II Series aircraft.
  • An instrument rating or an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.


Note:
This course does not provide any EASy II qualification.  A separate EASy II differences is available at FlightSafety Learning Centers.
