Honeywell Airline Reconfiguration Tool (ART)
Description

The Honeywell Airline Reconfiguration Tool (ART) course is designed to meet the training requirements of technicians/engineers with experience reconfiguring Communication Navigation Units (CMU) and Air Traffic Services Unit (ATSU) Airline Operational Control (AOC) databases.

 This course provides engineers with demonstrations and exercises related to the use of the ART tool. This tool is used to create or change the Multifunction Control Display Unit (MCDU) screens and content to meet ACARS operations. Features provided by the tool include activating message encryption, defining service provider regions and attributes, activating algorithms for having messages sent at specific flight phases, and defining input data received from other aircraft systems.
