ICAO Upset Prevention Techniques (eLearning)
Description

With FlightSafety’s course, pilots will have the knowledge to understand why an UPSET occurs and how to minimise the risk of experiencing an UPSET. This course meets the academic objectives of ICAO DOC 10011 AN/506 and EASA Annex LL to ED decision 2015/012/R.

Specifically, by the end of the course clients will be able to:

  • Define what is meant by an aircraft “upset”
  • Identify factors and circumstances that can lead to an upset
  • Describe how to minimize the possibility of an upset
  • Recognize when an upset has occurred
  • Manage the flight deck to prevent an upset (CRM techniques)
