General Emergency Training (eLearning)
Description

When approved by the Operator’s POI, this training meets most theoretical training elements found in FAA 14 CFR Pt 135.331, IS-BAO: Section 5.3.1: Emergency and Safety Procedures Training, as well as Transport Canada CASS 724.115(24), 724.115(25)(a) and many other regulatory authority Emergency Procedures training requirements.

By the end of the course, the client will be able to:

  • Explain how to recognize, prevent and control many abnormal and emergency situations.
  • Describe the procedures and equipment used for handling and controlling different types of aircraft emergencies, including physiology and decompression, aircraft fires and smoke control, aircraft ditching and survival.
  • Identify aircraft evacuation and egress procedures.

Course Objectives

This training meets FAA requirements and IS-BAO/ICAO recommendations for emergency familiarization every 12 months.  eLearning can be combined with drills training at a Cabin Safety Center to meet 24-month requirement for emergency familiarization with drills training.
